this is kind of like at awards shows where they give awards for set design and show the idea sketch and then how it was turned into reality. very cool.
some of these I drew from the picture, and some I actually sat down and sketched at the site. it has been really really cold this whole time, so taking an hour to sit outside and not move is tough. I hope that if the temperature ever gets to be above 40 degrees it will be easier to sit down and sketch outside, because I definantly enjoy these more. I can't really call reproducing from pictures "sketching," I feel kind of like I'm cheating when I do that, but for now it'll have to do because its so danged cold.
The drawings are cool! A procedural question; do you draw and then take a picture, or take the picture and then "draw the picture?"
